I really can't seem to get many words out lately so let's just keep the music coming. So... I have a slight obsession with all things "Scott Pilgrim" lately. There are worse vices i suppose and since kicking the "analogues", AKA cigarettes, i have to find something to amuse me. The Metric song "Black Sheep" from the soundtrack for the film is a masterpiece.
Emily Haines does it again and creates a melody that sinks deeper into your brain than your repressed memory of an alien abduction from childhood. I was pleased to find the full video of Brie Larson
performing the track that the movie cut short. I guess i can see why now. The segment they included is perfectly delivered but gets a bit weaker in the second verse. No matter my knit picking!!!! Great performances by both and a good reason to hum along for days!
